Everhart Veterinary Medicine was founded in 1956 in South Baltimore. Our practice was built on word-of-mouth, one client at a time. Since the beginning, we’ve treated our people and pets like family and continuously strive for the best possible outcomes. This compassionate approach to veterinary care in the foundation of everything we do.
In 1982, Dr. Robert Goodman joined Dr. Everhart’s practice and purchased it from him in 1991. In 2007, Dr. Goodman moved the practice into a new, state-of-the-art facility that provides premier veterinary care seven days a week. The staff at Everhart Veterinary Hospital has expanded into include a wide-range of specialized services. The team is composed of highly skilled and caring professionals that are dedicated to the well-being of pets and their families. Together, the staff and clientele have grown into one Everhart family, whose bond is shared love for animals and dedication to their care.
Today, we’ve expand into 2 new locations. Everhart WellPet Center in Pasadena and Everhart Cross Keys extends our ability to care for pets and provide accessible veterinary services to more families.

Everhart Veterinary Hospital is always accepting new patients. We will do our best to accommodate same day appointments if your animal has any urgent medical issues. This applies to everyone, and it does not matter if your companion is a new patient.
If you need urgent care, please call our hospital directly at 410-355-3131. We have urgent care available at both the Everhart Veterinary Hospital and the Everhart WellPet Center; however, major medical treatment or surgeries will are done at our hospital location.

If we discover that your pet needs a higher level of care, we may transfer the patient to a more specialized hospital that offers 24-hour care.
